We primarily work with students in Grades 4-6, including those in full French schools, French Immersion and Core French programs. We do, however, have programs for students in Grades 1-3, 7-10, and for adults.

Gateway Tutoring helps students become fluent in French without repetitive exercises or changing schools. Our interactive lessons focus on comprehension, speaking, and confidence-building in a supportive environment.

We use the Neurolinguistic Approach (NLA) to teach French as a second language. This means we prioritize spoken communication first, just like how children naturally learn their first language. Students hear and use French in meaningful contexts which builds confidence and fluency more effectively than traditional memorization methods.

Additionally, we create the best environment for learning by fostering a growth mindset in every class. We help students see mistakes as part of the learning process and encourage them to take risks in speaking French. Our tutors celebrate progress, provide positive reinforcement, and equip students with the mindset and strategies they need to become confident, independent French learners.
